Beautiful Ginger is a 55 pound, 8 year old mix of perhaps basenji and cattle dog. Ginger appreciates a good belly rub and it’s said she turns into a puppy when she receives love and attention. She would do best in a home where she can remain active and be exercised daily – currently she go running for up to 2 miles. Ginger loves the dog park and off-leash time. She can stay home most of the day without a potty break and is crate trained. Ginger currently lives with another dog but she’s mostly indifferent to other dogs. She has never lived with cats but has been great with gentle kids of all ages. Ginger is a “talker” and she LOVES to play tug of war. She is described as being “a versatile dog”; one that can enjoy physical activity but also be calm and relaxed when you need her to be. The benefits of a senior dog! Ginger is waiting in Puyallup, Washington for her forever home.
