Hunter

Hello – my name is Hunter. I’m a small Beagle about 13 inches tall and 18 pounds, and I’m about 9 years old. I lived with a nice family (mom, dad, kids, dogs and birds) but it was too busy for me. I’m a friendly, sweet dog but loud and/or sudden noises startle me. So I’m looking for a quieter home, preferable with women only and a dog or dogs to keep me company. I’m still an active dog! I love going for walks and hikes, playing with other dogs, playing with my toys and chewing on bones. When I’m tuckered out I love to snuggle on the couch or sleep on my dog bed. I’m housetrained and crate-trained. I’d do best in a crate when no one is home, I still have a bit of a mischievous streak in me. I love going on car rides and seeing new places. I enjoy hanging out in my fenced backyard but, being a hound, I can’t resist following smells under the fence, so you’ll have to keep an eye on me. I’m in good health and I’d really like to meet you.
