Pretty little Lucy is a “broken-coated” Jack Russell Terrier, 10 years old and 11 pounds of cuteness. Lucy is definitely a terrier! She’s friendly and excited when meeting other dogs, independent but cuddly (needs to sleep on the bed), energetic and loves to go on walks. Also like some terriers, she just can’t learn not to chase the cats – Lucy really needs a cat-free home. This is a loyal and loving girl who is happy just to have someone close, likes to sit on laps, and REALLY loves the car. She’s been great going to work with her foster mom but also loves to spend time in the back yard; she’s not particularly barky but will protect the yard from rabbits. She gets along fine with the other dogs in her foster home; it took a week or so to work out the relationships as she adjusted and that will likely be the case in her new home.

Lucy will probably need allergy meds much of the year but is otherwise healthy, ready to be your buddy (with that great face included no extra charge!). She is in foster care in Anacortes, WA.
