Mrs. Potato!

This adorable little nugget is Mrs. Potato! Mrs. Potato is an approximately 8 year old chihuahua who only weighs 7 pounds;she is looking for her forever home. She has the cutest little apple-shaped head and her tongue sticks out a little on the side, plus her tail curls a bit – it’s precious! She loves to trot around and will come up to ask for pets. She loves to be held and carried and seems like she’s a fabulous lap dog! Mrs. Potato and her siblings came to us from an over-crowded home situation where she didn’t get too many life skills. She can still be a little nervous with too much handling by new people and appreciates when strangers go slowly and are gentle. Mrs. Potato would love a quiet, patient home that can help her personality continue to shine! She seems to really, really like other dogs and may benefit from having a new doggie sibling or two. Mrs. Potato lived in an indoor outdoor heated dog run in her previous home, so she is likely not potty trained and will need a patient, dedicated adopter to teach her all about house training/crate training. Mrs Potato has never really been on a leash before, so is looking for a home with a securely fenced yard and only supervised outside time. Mrs. Potato arrived at the shelter with some dental tartar and decay and will getting a full dental cleaning and exam when she gets spayed.
