“My name is Kim Lee, but my foster family calls me The Unbreakable Kim Lee Schmidt because nothing gets me down! I’m an extremely cuddly, friendly, sweet, happy-go-lucky 8 year old girl. I am great with everyone-people and animals! I can’t wait to meet you! I might even let you rub my belly. Just kidding! I will definitely let you rub my belly because it’s my favorite thing.

“I have some vision and hearing loss, but nothing stops me from finding my way to the couch or bed, where I prefer to spend most of my time. I have a big appetite, and when I’m hungry or thirsty, I let you know by standing in the kitchen, or right next to my water dish. When I need to go out, I will find my way to the door (you just have to show me where it is first!) My eyes and ears might not work that well, but my nose sure does. When I smell something tasty I will RUN to where it is. My foster family says they’ve never seen a blind pug move so fast! I’m very good about letting my foster family apply my eye meds for my dry eyes three times a day, which is good because I need my dry eye cream for the rest of my life.

“I am excellent on the leash, and love exploring my neighborhood (I particularly enjoy smelling ferns!) At night I sleep in bed with my foster family or in my crate, which is filled with blankets and toys. I’m perfectly happy to stay in my crate while you are away as well. I rarely bark, but when I do, it’s important! So you better listen!”
