“Hello Sunshine Lovers,

“I LOVE LOVE LOVE to soak up the sun out on the lawn and have a cool beverage near by.  Ahhhh…that is my idea of perfection.  Let me get straight to the point so that you can get back out and enjoy YOUR space in the sun.

“I am looking for a new home and the ideal home would be where someone could be home most of the time or take me with them.  That gets tough now with the heat and of course I can’t be left in a car, but I can go places you can go and have excellent potty manners.

“I am a heat seeking missile for a warm human and want to sleep with you.  I will be quiet, well mannered, and sleep through the night.  I do not like to be alone.

“I walked into my new foster home which has an assortment of different dogs, and my foster mom declared the meeting to be a “non-event”.  If that means that we all just sniffed and said our how do you do’s, then I guess that’s what it was.  I’m getting along just fine with everyone.

“I would love to have a small piece of yard, nothing grand, just a bit of space to myself.  I could meet your dog and see how he/she likes me.  I’ve had a toddler around thinking I’m like one of his stuffed animals so I would prefer not to have young children around.  I didn’t mind it so much but since I get a clean slate, then that’s what I’m hoping for.

“I am loving and sweet, and terrific company and will be your best friend.  I like walks but I don’t need someone to hike me miles per day.  I’m perfectly happy just toodling about.

“Please do remember that both Beagles and Pugs have hair which falls out.  It doesn’t really grow.  I am naturally, the same.  I don’t have to go to the groomer once a month which is nice but if you have allergies you will not experience a good quality of life with me.  I want my human and my family to be just as happy as I am.  So please try hard not to let me sweet face influence your choice of me if you have dog hair allergies.

“I am a very youthful 13 years of age.  My foster mom swore I was 9 when she met me but I’ve got the paperwork to prove that 13 is the new 9.

“I am a 23 pound Puggle and have the lovely qualities of both breeds though I think I’m more Pug than Beagle.  I do enjoy walking around outside, smelling, and investigating and I have a pretty cute little howl but it’s very tiny, so you would not think you were living with a Beagle.

“I have been living in an apartment and have done well in that environment and I won’t dismiss you if you have downsized to a condo or apartment.  I just need to make sure that you are active enough, in that case, to take me out for pottying and exercise.  I would love to meet anyone who is interested even if just to say “howdie”.

“Love, Peanut.”
