“My name is Daisy. I’m a laid back, shy gal who is looking for forever love. At 13 years old, I know it’s a little late in life but I believe I still have so much to offer someone. I am a very nice girl.

“I have always lived with other dogs. I’ve also lived with cats and bunnies. My person would tell you I’ve always had an old soul. I’ve never been one of those super active, hyper dogs. A good spot in the sun or even better, a place next to my human, is what I enjoy most in life. While I have been around children and have been tolerant, I’m hoping any kids I’m around now are older. I want to be treated gently.

“I am fine when the humans leave the house as long as I have a friendly canine pal (or 2 or 3) to hang out with. I’ll get up on a comfy piece of furniture and chill. I do like a slow paced walk; I am good on leash and will flash everyone my great smile! I can do stairs now but hope I won’t have to climb too many to get where I need to go. I weigh about 50 pounds so carrying me is not an easy option if I become mobility challenged.

“I’m used to being able to get in and out of my house when I need to relieve myself. No dog should have to wait too long to potty! I have not seen a vet in a few years. While I appear healthy, I should be vetted by my adopter. All dogs need regular vet care, especially us seniors. I  am hoping to find a committed adopter soon who will take care of me for the rest of my days.”

Daisy is located in Stanwood, WA. For contact information please email: referrals@olddoghaven.org
