“Hi! My name’s Lucy and I’m an 11 year old girl looking for my forever home. A little about me – I am a big, cuddly girl. My hobbies include sleeping, sunbathing, eating and short, leisurely walks. I like to find the nearest fluffy spot (preferably a pillow) and will spend all day/night there if you let me. You can call me the ultimate couch potato. I also love going on walks but they need to be somewhat short because my joints get a little tired and I start to slow down. I take a daily joint supplement and also a medication called Rimadyl.

“I get along with other dogs and will even play once I get warmed up to a new friend. I have heard it said I can be annoying to other dogs, I sometimes will sniff their butt a bit too long but I am good at understanding those boundaries if my friends give me a warning. I’m pretty indifferent about cats. I am okay being the only dog in the household because no love matches the love I have for my human!

“Not to toot my own horn, but I’m a very smart girl too. I know how to sit, stay, down, shake and will promptly ask for a treat once I show off my skills. Also I am fully potty trained! The true way to my heart is with food. As I said before I am a big girl and will need someone who is strict about human food even if I make that super hard by being so darn adorable. While one or two steps are ok with me, I will need to live in a home where I don’t have to go up a full flight of stairs.”
