Tilly
A very sweet girl!
Please note: The dogs in ODH's Final Refuge care are not adoptable due to medical reasons and all are in permanent homes. Your sponsorship supports the veterinary expenses for these dogs - and we thank you!
Here is Tilly, a real sweetheart!
This nice girl was so stressed at the shelter, she needed out right away! Tilly wasn’t an adoption candidate at the shelter as no one had ever bothered to spay her and she needs extensive dental work. Both of these surgeries an old dog her age, needed to be done outside of the shelter. Old Dog Haven was asked to help.
One of our long time fosters offered to give Tilly her permanent foster home. We were thrilled and Tilly is too! She settled right into her new home that is made for old dogs with lots of other old pups to hang out with. Her new mom says that Tilly likes to follow her around or find a comfy bed or couch to hang out on with the rest of the dogs.
Tilly’s dental and spay will happen soon. We are so grateful that because of YOUR donations, this is possible. Tilly’s mouth will feel SO much better once she heals. Spaying Tilly could prevent deadly pyometra and the potential for cancerous mammary tumors.
Watching Tilly settle into her new Final Refuge home gives her family much joy. This girl knows she is home now and loved.
