Alabama
Ready for an active family!
Alabama is ready for a family that will include her in all their outdoor adventures. She might be 10 years old but she has the stamina of a much younger dog. This beauty weighs 59 pounds. Alabama would make a great hiking, camping or running buddy. She is always ready to go! She is also happy to relax in the warmth of the sun so a fenced yard will be necessary to keep her from going on walkabouts through the neighborhood.
Alabama loves all people. She thinks that everyone is her friend and she will keep trying to win you over until you give in. Alabama has been successful in play groups with young, male dogs that are also energetic and don’t mind being bossed around! The belief is that Alabama would be OK living with another dog, a relaxed but still playful male, who is about her size. She will also need a feline free home. Because of her energy, and the possibility of knocking little ones over, her rescuers are asking for a home without children under 10.
Alabama is posted for Save-A-Mutt Rescue. She is being fostered in Snohomish County, WA. For more information about Alabama, please submit a Save-A-Mutt adoption application. Applications can be found at www.save-a-mutt.org
This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
