12 year old Alfy is a sensitive fella who is dreaming of a home for the holidays.  He is a quiet boy who is used to relaxing on the blanket covered couch with his person.  Weighing 15 pounds, he’s not too tiny but certainly not a big dog!

Alfy loves his people and would be happiest in a home where he isn’t left alone for long periods of time.  He would love a family that will include him in as many outings as possible.  Alfy has wonderful house manners but, as with all new additions to the family, he will need to learn a routine for continued success.

Alfy spent his life as someone’s one and only.  He is living with dogs in his foster home and he is doing great. In his previous home he spent time with a visiting cat and they just ignored each other.  Alfy is frightened by fireworks and loud noises, therefore, his forever home should be calm, quiet and predictable.  His rescuers are asking for a home without children under 12 years of age.

Alfy is posted for Save-A-Mutt. He is being fostered in Snohomish County, WA.  If you’d like to learn more about Alfy, please email: elizabeth@save-a-mutt.org or check out their Petfinder link: www.petfinder.com/pet-search?shelter_id=WA630

This is not an Old Dog Haven dog. We urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
