12 year old Annie is an interesting mix of Boston Terrier and Miniature Pinscher. This lovely girl with brindle markings weighs 16 pounds.  Described as a very intelligent girl, she is cautious when meeting new people but once she gets to know you she makes a terrific companion. It sounds as though Annie will connect with her person deeply if given the time and opportunity. Annie sounds very special!

Annie has lived with a cat and made friends with other dogs her size. Annie is afraid of large dogs. We are told she is good with children who are old enough to know how to be gentle and kind.

This fun girl loves to play with toys and enjoys going for daily walks. Annie is FAST! For this reason Annie should always be leashed up when she is not in a securely fenced area or yard. Annie is highly motivated by food and very trainable.

If you would like a dog who would like to go on trips with you, Annie is your girl! We are told she’s a very good traveler. Annie knows how to relax too. She enjoys sleeping at the foot of the bed under the covers or snuggled in her blanket on her dog bed. She can manage stairs with no issue. We are told she can get anxious when she has to stay alone for too long. One must take this into consideration. Annie will need time to settle in, learn a new routine and understand her people will return again. In her ideal home, she will not be without company too often as this is what she is accustomed to.

Annie’s last owner passed away recently. She is staying with a kind friend who cannot keep her indefinitely. Annie is in need of a true forever adoptive home.

Annie is located in Langley, WA. For contact information please email: referrals@olddoghaven.org

This is a courtesy post. Annie is not an Old Dog Haven dog. We urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
