Azul
Shy, gentle and loving
This is Azul and she is available for adoption through Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC)! Azul is a 9 year old female Pit Bull dog, who is white and gray. Azul’s shelter identification number is #A693921. At 60 pounds she is considered a large breed dog.
She can be a bit timid at first, but that’s because she is still new to the shelter and all the people there. Due to her shy nature, she would do best in a calm, quiet home without younger children. Fast movements and loud noises scare her. Azul is a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. She may get nervous in new situations, so we are looking for a family who understands that she might take some time to warm up. Once she gets to know you, she will be a very devoted friend!
The shelter reports that Azul is potty trained. She is also spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped! Her adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion. Azul was nominated for Pet of the Week on September 12th, 2023! This means that her adoption fee has been reduced! In fact, all through September it’s just $50 to adopt an adult dog! That’s a savings of 50% or more off regular adoption fees! This adoption fee includes a King County pet license (if applicable). This helps her safe return home should she become lost, and comes with additional benefits such as Vacation Pet Alert, Free Ride Home and more (visit our pet licensing page for more info)! Of course an adoption fee is a drop in the bucket to the lifelong care of a pet. One should be sure they can afford to properly care for an animal when they adopt.
If you and your family are ready to fall in love with Azul, please come check her out at the Regional Animal Services of King County today! You can find out more about her and other animals on their website at www.kingcounty.gov/adoptapet.
Note that RASKC has moved back to walk-in services. You can find out more information on their adoption process on their website as well. If you have more questions, please contact RASKC via phone at 206-296-7387 (PETS) or email pets@kingcounty.gov. If you want to meet Azul or other pets in person, RASKC is open from noon to 5pm Monday through Friday, and noon to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. The address is 21615 64th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032.
This is not an Old Dog Haven dog. We urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
