Beanie is one happy dog! This 10-year-old German Shepherd is always smiling, and her joy is infectious! Whether it’s hanging out watching tv, going for walks, playing with toys, or getting pets, Beanie does it all with a grin. Beanie is a pretty easygoing gal and makes a great canine companion.

Beanie is quite overweight, but she’s already started her weight loss journey and has lost 13 pounds! She still weighs about 98 pounds, so her adopter should be able to walk such a big, strong dog.

Beanie does well with cats and tries to play with them, so any resident cats should be dog savvy. She also does well with other dogs as long as they are mellow and gentle.

Beanie does have some arthritis and would do best in a home without stairs, or a floorplan where she doesn’t have to use stairs. Any kids in the home should be older and able to handle her gently. Due to her breed, size and arthritis, Beanie may not be a good fit for an apartment or condo.  Beanie does have an eye condition that requires daily drops.

Beanie is posted for Homeward Pet Adoption Center in Woodinville, WA.
