Bear

Bear is an 8 year old, 95 pound lab and who-knows-what mix who is a gentle giant of a dog. He loves people and greets everyone sweetly and gently. He came to Vashon Island Pet Protectors having had very little training but within 10 minutes of positive strokes and tasty treats, he started to learn how to walk nicely on a leash. Bear has lived with cats and spent time around kids and while he has not had much interaction with other dogs, he appears to like them. After vet care and volunteer loving, he’s now ready for a forever home for his golden years. He’d love some more training, treats and TLC, and will return the favor with easy companionship.
