“My name is Bella and I’m hoping to find a new home. I am a 13 year old English Springer Spaniel. I’d like to tell you my story and I hope you will share it: Once upon a time I was a little puppy. I don’t remember much of my life before my person bought me and brought me home. He was my man and he was my whole world. I know that he loved me and I loved him. My man is gone now, he passed away. I still live in the home that I’ve always lived in but I am lonely. The remaining human in my life works all day and when she comes home we don’t spend much time together at all. I’ve not ever lived with other dogs, cats or children. I am kind of timid when meeting other dogs but that doesn’t mean I’m not friendly! I can “hold it” between 5-7 hours without needing a potty break. As I age, I’m not hearing and seeing as well as I used to and stairs have become hard on me. I walk well on a leash and while I don’t expect a lot of exercise, I’d certainly appreciate getting out to stretch my legs. I am a pretty girl. I am kind of shy and not barky; I’ll try not to ask too much of you. But I believe in second chances, do you? I believe there’s someone out there who will once again love and appreciate me. “

Bella is in Lake Forrest Park, WA.

ODH has not met this dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
