Blackie is an adorable little man who is longing to find a forever home. He is an affectionate and loyal boy who is a friend to everyone. Blackie would be a great with a retired person who likes the idea of a sidekick. He likes to go everywhere with his people and is an absolute lap dog. At only 10 years old, with good care he could live for many years to come, please keep that in mind when committing to a young senior. Blackie should not have to go through rehoming again.

Blackie lived with dogs in his previous home and would benefit from having a doggie friend. We don’t know his history with cats but he is such a friendly boy and would probably do well with a cat.  Blackie was never taught proper potty manners.  He will need a family that is committed to helping him continue with learning a predictable routine until he is housebroken. Blackie has so much love to give someone.  Because he is a small boy who weighs only 6 pounds, the rescue is looking for a home without children under 10 years of age.

Blackie is posted for Save-A-Mutt Rescue. He is being fostered in Snohomish County, WA. For more information about Blackie, please submit a Save-A-Mutt adoption application. Adoption applications can be found at www.save-a-mutt.org.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
