Brandy and Max are lifelong friends who have recently lost the person they loved and lived with since puppyhood. Brandy is said to be an aussie mix who weighs about 70 pounds; she is about 13 years old. Max is a lab/great dane mix who weighs 100 pounds; he is around 11 years old. The pair get along and have lived with other dogs, cats and kind children. Currently they can go about 6 hours without needing a potty break. Brandy is quite sad since her person passed away, she’s spending most of her time laying on her caretaker’s couch. She is described as a “very sweet, quiet and loving dog”. Brandy is said not to need much exercise but Max does enjoy his walks; it would be good for Brandy to get out at least to enjoy fresh air and stretch her legs. Reportedly Brandy can still manage stairs but Max cannot due to arthritis. Max is described as “a gentle giant -happy and loving” and he loves other animals. For a few years their person had a rough go of it and these friends did not always get the care they needed but they were loved. The hope is they will find a home together where they will receive the love they always had and the care they need now that they are seniors. These friends sound like wonderful old dogs.

Brittany and Max are in Des Moines, WA.

ODH has not met these dogs; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
