“Are you looking for a Buddy? I’m your boy! I don’t think it’s a coincidence that my name is Buddy. I am a chubby boy who weighs about 80 pounds, I like to eat! My caregivers say I am about 12 years old now.
“I lost my home when my owner became ill. He found me abandoned in a parking lot when I was about 1 years old. I know he was sad to let me go but life changed. I had to I live in a kennel at a vet clinic for awhile. The people there were so nice to me but I missed snuggles on the couch with my human. But lucky me! A foster home was found for me and I’m doing really well here. Now I just need to find my forever home.
“I am not a fan of other male dogs but I do get along with females. I just need to be fed away from other dogs; I enjoy my meals alone! I lived with cats and was good with those and the neighbor’s cats in my former home. I am not a fan of kids. I can be barky at the door when someone comes to the house but lots of dogs behave that way! I need a home with someone who is kind, committed and dog savvy.
“Walks are so much fun! I will bring you my leash when it’s time for my walk, I’m a helpful boy! I do pull on leash so you should be strong enough to manage that. A house with a fenced yard would be nice. I will talk to you when I need to go potty. I am a very smart boy! I can do stairs still. I will bring you a toy so that we can play. I’m a loving fellow who just loves being with people. If you need someone to cuddle up with at bed time, I’m happy to oblige!
“I have so much love to give. My foster tells me all of the time what an awesome dog I am. I can’t wait to find my forever person!”
