“Hello friends! My name is Charley and I am currently at Blue Mountain Humane Society waiting for you to come to my rescue. I am 9 years old and I weigh 95 pounds. I’m a big, strong boy! I was previously kept as an outdoor dog and would like to find a home where I get to be inside when I want to be but would still have room to roam and explore.

“I was adopted from the shelter and then it was discovered I have a high prey drive, so now no small animals for me.  I am a people lover but kids are my favorite humans! I tend to pull on the leash, so I might need a strong handler or benefit from more leash training. Bathes are not my favorite, but I will tolerate it for you.

“I should probably be supervised when let outdoors, sometimes my nose gets me going and I tend to explore too far out. Ideally in my new home I’d have a secure fence to keep me safe.  I also enjoy digging. I am a gentle giant that scares easily with loud noises. If I sound like a companion for you, please submit an adoption application and visit me at the shelter. I will be waiting for you!”
