Chee

Chee, a mostly-dachshund lady, was left at a shelter by her family at the age of 13, very overweight.    She settled into her ODH home with grace, enjoying the company of both humans and her new canine buddy and becoming a great walking companion.  She regained much of her youthful figure, her skin improved from past neglect, and she had a few adventures (maybe misadventures?).    After only 6 happy months in her ODH home she was suddenly overcome with immune-modulated hemolytic anemia and the emergency vets found a tumor in her spleen with metastasis in her lungs.     Her ODH family is so sorry that they didn’t have more time with her but so glad that they knew and loved her.
