FOUND – PERMANENT ODH FOSTER/HOSPICE HOME:  Chihuahua-terrier little old lady, 14#, spayed female.     This pretty girl landed in the shelter after owner passed, with heart disease and then kennel cough – a very sick little dog.  We sent her to a cardiologist who diagnosed congestive heart failure and started her on meds which have helped a great deal.   She’s been in an ODH temporary foster home since then and has had a cardiology recheck, gotten past her infection, and settled into being an extremely sweet, gentle, loving girl.  She loves little walks and can be quite lively and playful now that she feels good and has relaxed.   She loves snuggling on the couch and gets along very well with their big younger dog. She is housebroken, quiet, not demanding; she has been drawn to the male foster so we hope she might find another man to love.   With this diagnosis, she probably doesn’t have a very long time ahead to be healthy and happy but we really hope she can find a spot to do that and be cherished.
