9 year old Chloe is a pretty girl who weighs about 60 pounds. Her people tell us they believe she’s some kind of shepherd mix. Chloe is an active girl who enjoys playing at the dog park, playing with a ball and going swimming. She has always lived with other animals; dogs, cats and even rabbits! Because of her size and excitability, it’s believed she should only go to a home with gentle children, age 5 and over.
Chloe has never been left completely alone. She is accustomed to the company of at least one other friendly dog to be with when her humans are away from home. She is used to being able to go in and outside as often as she needs to. A home with a securely fenced yard would be best for Chloe. At night Chloe will cuddle up on the couch or at the foot of your bed. She LOVES her person, thrives on affection and will lay on your feet if you’ll allow it.
Chloe is a strong girl who will pull on a leash, her adopter should be able to manage that strength. We are told that Chloe is not much of a barker. At this time she can do stairs. Her owners state she appears healthy but she has not been seen by a vet in about 4 years. Our belief is a senior dog should be vetted at least once a year (just like humans who go in for yearly check ups). Chloe’s adopter should be able to get her in for a check up upon adoption and keep her vetted regularly.
Doesn’t Chloe sound like a FUN dog?! She is described as “a goof who does not act her age unless she’s had a full day of activity”. Chloe is said to be happiest when she’s receiving love from her people.
