Coco is a male Catahoula Leopard dog that weighs approximately 100 pounds. He is 10 years old. Staff at the shelter LOVE Coco. He is described as a “goofy old man” with a big, endearing smile. Coco does a little happy paw dance when someone comes to play with him.

Coco is great with kids but in his former home got “protective” of the new baby so he will need an experienced owner if adopted to a family with children or grandchildren. Shelter staff state he is a smart boy who understands when you talk to him so he could possibly do well with some training. Coco does not do well with other male large dogs.

Coco is trained to walk on a ‘gentle lead’ and can easily be walked by anyone. He knows some commands. His energy level is low and just really wants to be around people. This special boy is going to make his new people very happy.

Coco is posted for the North Beach Paws in Hoquiam, WA. Approved applications will be contacted to make an appointment to meet Coco. If you are selected to adopt, a second trip to the shelter will be required to pick up the dog and complete the adoption process.

Please call Nanette at 360-660-4661 or email doghousenbpaws@gmail.com if you have any questions.

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
