Cookie is an  Italian Greyhound/Whippet mix; she is 10 years old and weighs 16 pounds.

8 year old Dewey is a dachshund/chihuahua mix; he weighs 15 pounds.

This pair is being referred to as “ Lady and the Scamp”. They are described as delightful new foster dogs. They have been given those nicknames because of their intriguing and adorable personalities.

The “Lady” (Cookie) is a beautiful, dainty, graceful, and elegant girl.  The “Scamp”(Dewey) is a charming and playful little fellow who scampers around and enjoys life.  What a fun pair of dogs.  They are best friends and watch out for one another.

Cookie and Dewey are good with other dogs, with all people,  and  they have been caught napping next to Edward who is a Blue Brit (cat).  They grew up with a Munchkin cat named Rider.  Once their human was moved to a care facility it was just the three of them fending for themselves.

They seem to have good potty habits. Reportedly they haven’t had accidents in the foster home and  do their business outside.  Dewey (the Scamp) likes a great big orange traffic cone.  Dewey and Cookie  love having a big back yard to play in and would rather be outside than in, though are fine once inside, and only need one big comfy dog bed to share.  Even on their first scary night in foster care, they slept quietly through the night.

These B.F.F.’s may be an odd pairing but they will delight and charm you and make a wonderful addition to your family.

Dewey and Cookie are a cross post for the collaborative rescue efforts of Furbaby Rescue and Rebecca’s Rainbow. They are in one of their foster homes located in Kirkland, WA.

These are not ODH dogs; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
