Dega

13 year old Dega is a sweet, elderly boy looking for a family without young children. He is a 45 pound English Springer Spaniel. This wonderful boy was very loved by his family, but the toddler began walking and Dega was unhappy about that.  His owners turned to rescue to help find him a new home.

Dega is generally a very sweet dog.  He’s well behaved and mild mannered. He enjoys a daily walk and is good on a leash. He loves spending time with his family for pets and snuggles on the couch. Dega is used to being alone during the day but gets very excited when people come home. Dega has no experience with cats. Dega may be okay with some other dogs, but he prefers to be the only dog.

Dega is in really good health for his age and is still quite mobile and active. He has skin allergies, so he takes a daily dose of Apoquel to control the allergies. He is prone to sebaceous cysts and other skin lumps, but all have been benign.

Dega is house trained, microchipped and up to date on preventative vaccinations.
