Dachshunds are like a bag of chips… can’t have just one!
Meet the adorable, dynamic, bonded pair Doc (Dapple) & Penny (Red)! These two sweet, loving, laid back kids will steal your heart.

Doc, 11 years old, is a “tweenie” (weighs approximately 16 pounds) and Penny, 13 years old is also a “tweenie” (weighs approximately 14 pounds). would love to find their forever home where they can enjoy the simpler and quieter things in life. A lap to snuggle, leisurely walks, belly rubs and spending time with their favorite people. They are both endearing, affectionate and mild-mannered.

Doc’s personality is laid back, a go with the flow kinda fella. Penny’s personality has a bit more spice. Both love their walks when it’s not too rainy or cold outside, playing tug-o-war, car rides and adventures! They are potty trained, walk nicely together on leash, healthy and completely vetted including recent dentals.

Doc and Penny are looking for a great new start with a family who will love them to pieces and can spend time with them — preferably retired. Both do well with all dogs (although Penny is a bit fearful of bigger dogs at first due to a previous incident when younger) and cats, and would prefer children that are old enough to be respectful. A secure and fully fenced yard is required.

Penny and Doc are posted for Hearts4doxies Rescue. They are being fostered in Spanaway, WA. To apply, please submit an application found on their website: www.hearts4doxiesrescue.org under the Forms Tab. Please NOTE: a cellphone is not compatible with their website.

These are not ODH dogs; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluations.
