Hi!  I’m Dottie!  I’m a 10 year old Rat Terrier (mix?) who weighs about 11 pounds. My previous owner became too ill to take care of me. I was fortunate to come to rescue so that I had a foster home to stay in while a forever home could be found for me.  I’m a really nice girl looking for a great home and people to love.  I’d rather be an “only” dog, as that was what I was accustomed to in my previous home. I am currently living with three other terriers and we get along just fine as long as they remember I may be little but I’M the boss!

I arrived to rescue with some warty things that have been removed and as with many small dogs, don’t have a tooth in my head.  I’m eating kibble that my foster mum adds warm water to and I have no problems eating (what respectable dog chews their food anyway, eh?!). There’s a dog door to the back garden and since I’m house-trained, I zip through that to take care of business outside when I need to.

I ride well in the car, snuggle nearby ( but I don’t need to be “on you”) and love to be outdoors with my human.  If you have cats or small humans, I’m probably not your best choice.  That said, my foster mum tells me I’m a lovely old girl and a special person will find me and I’ll love them to pieces.”
