Fiona is a sweet little Jack Russell Terrier, probably 12 or 13 years old. She is mostly deaf but can still see and gets around pretty good. Fiona’s health is good except for a very significant heart murmur. She’s not on medication for congestive failure yet but we’re watching her closely. Her foster mom calls her their Roller Derby girl: she walks/runs right over or through anything in her way whether it’s another dog or a water bowl or a person. Fiona is starting to show affection by asking for petting; she’s not used to being held but is learning to like it. Fiona will be loved and cared for the rest of her life in her Final Refuge home. Fiona had a lot of love in her ODH home, perhaps more kindness than she’d known in a while. She will be missed by her entire family.
