Check out this handsome dude! Flint is about 10 years old, a big guy at 116 pounds. Flint is described as being  an easy going gentle giant that listens well to commands.  He enjoys the company of other dogs and especially loves to be with his humans.  Flint is currently sharing his foster home with a female husky and happy to be part of a home again.

Flint has a beautiful red colored coat. He is very attentive, friendly and has a gentle demeanor. His lovable personality is evident  when he will offer to cuddle with you if you lay on the floor and say “cuddle me.” He is still quite active for a senior and loves to run around exploring and playing!

A 6 foot securely fenced yard is a requirement to adopt Flint. Flint is vocal, so he needs a home without neighbors nearby that will complain. He IS a Malamute! We are told he has had some basic training.

Flint is posted for WAMAL-Washington Alaskan Malamute Adoption League. Please note: The rescue will only adopt out to residents of Washington or Oregon. If you’d like to learn more about Flint and adopting him, please check out their website:Adoption Information (wamal.com)

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
