Fozzie came from a shelter into the care of his Old Dog Haven Final Refuge home as a hospice dog. He was very arthritic and very emaciated, had a large tumor on his side and was in kidney failure. Thankfully, dogs do not know their health is failing; they live each day as it comes and seem to make the best of it. Fozzie was an incredibly sweet, gentle dog who touched the heart of all who met him. His ODH Final Refuge family did everything they could to make him comfortable and let him know how loved he was in his new home. Fozzie only stayed for 10 days until his fosters knew it was time to send him on.

While his fosters wish they could’ve had more time with him, they know Fozzie left this world knowing he was cherished.
