“Hi There!  I’m George. I am an 8 year old, 50 pound red nosed pitbull who is looking for a home as soon as possible.

“I find myself in need of a home after the person I’d lived with for most of my life moved suddenly and without me. I was adopted as a puppy after I went through training at a jail. I am well socialized; I do well with dogs, cats and kids. The kind neighbor lady who took me in when my human left will tell you that I am a very sweet boy, very in tune with people’s emotions. I LOVE people! I truly want to please them.

“I am good to stay home during the day when you leave the house. While staying alone I can manage to “hold it” for a while. I like to hang out in my kennel or on the couch. I can certainly do stairs and as I mentioned before, I’ve been through training so I’m good on leash. It’d be fun if my new human has time to take me for walks. I will bark to let you know if someone is at the door.

“I do have a cyst on my left leg. My current caretaker, who took me quickly when my lifelong person couldn’t bring me on her move, doesn’t know if I’ve had any vetting so that should be something my adopter should be willing and able to afford. I promise I will make it worth their while! I’m a very good boy who is hoping for a home I’ll never lose.  I hope there’s someone out there who will fall in love with me very soon and take me to their home to live with them forever!”
