Henri

Henri, a most handsome beagle with a wonderfully relaxed and happy personality, left the terrifying shelter for an ODH home but a lot of suspicious medical issues. A heart murmur, thickened arthritic knees, and abnormal bloodwork signaled that he might not be with us long. Diagnostics by specialists showed that something was going on in the liver and heart disease was developing; treatment was started but his condition deteriorated bit by bit. A sudden collapse sent him to the emergency hospital where we learned that the liver disease had progressed and heart disease had progressed also. Treatment for the heart disease was too much for his old kidneys and sweet Henri had come to the end of the line. His ODH mom and many veterinarians had tried hard to give him more happy time and he will be missed. Henri died June of 2015.
