Holly was transported to her Old Dog Haven Final Refuge home with instructions about how nervous she apparently was and that she needed a big kennel to sleep and stay in, which her ODH mom made per the instructions. Funny girl never went into it. She instead chose the biggest bed front and center in the living room! And then she almost immediately took the lead role with the small Chihuahua mix and another ODH boy in the home, a Husky mix named Bear.

Holly is a tall, lanky girl with a bit of weakness in her hind end but that does not stop her from galloping about the backyard on her own or being followed around by her pack mates Mickey and Bear. She LOVES going for her daily walks. She is also very social. If her mom is outside on the patio Holly is right there with her. When her mom goes inside she is close on her heels to get back inside as well.

Holly’s Final Refuge mom tells us that Holly is a gem of a gal and she couldn’t be happier to give such a sweet and loving dog the home she deserves!

Update:  Sadly after almost a year in her Final Refuge home, Holly’s health suddenly failed and her mom sent her on with much love.  Holly was a wonderful addition in her home and will be greatly missed.  She was a very special girl!
