What a face Jackson has! We see love, hope and trust in those eyes. Jackson is an 8 year old, 60 pound lab mix in need of an adoptive home. Jackson currently lives with another dog. He attends doggy daycare and has been boarded as needed. We are told Jackson does well there and is appropriately social when meeting other dogs off leash.

Jackson will chase a cat so he needs a feline free home. Because of his size and zest for life, Jackson needs a home without young children. He does not appreciate people on wheels (skateboards, scooters, rollerblades) as they make him anxious. Jackson will bark when he sees other dogs while he’s on leash and those pesky humans on wheels but aside from that, we are told he is not a barky dog. He has good manners inside and can wait quite a bit before he requires a potty break.

Jackson’s adopter should be able to get him out for daily exercise. He LOVES balls-he can hold 3 balls in his mouth at once!  He will pull on leash so he needs a home with someone able to work on his leash skills.

This nice boy is ready for a home with a secure, pet-friendly yard. He can stay home alone without issue but he is accustomed to having another friendly, older canine around for company.

We imagine Jackson to be a fun-loving, adventuresome dog that is going to make a super companion. He is ready for a lifelong adopter!

Jackson is located in Seattle, WA. For contact information please email: referrals@olddoghaven.org

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
