Joon

Meet Joon! Joon and her brother Benny are Pomeranian-Chihuahua mixes who came from a seemingly loving home before circumstances changed and the pair were taken to a shelter. They stayed there for 6 weeks, which was a very scary time for these little dogs! Because they were both about 13 years old and had suspected health issues, they were deemed unadoptable by the shelter and Old Dog Haven was asked to help.

Thanks to your support of ODH, once in her Final Refuge home Joon (like Benny) was fully vetted, received much needed dental care, and treatment for an infected sore on her ear.  Her forever person tells us, “I call Joon my little circus dog. She is a twirler! She twirls in the morning while waiting for me to take her outside, she twirls while waiting for us to finish making her meals, and she twirls when we come home. Twirl, twirl, twirl! She’s such a happy girl and she makes me laugh.”

Joon loves going on walks and hanging out with her brother, Benny, who plays the more reserved role but will break out the zoomies for belly rubs when least expected…What a pair! They get to grow old together in good health and love thanks to your support of Old Dog Haven.

Update:  Two months after Benny passed, his lifetime buddy Joon had to leave as well.  They were a wonderful bonded pair and we know they are together again.  Joon will always be remembered and was so special to her family.
