Juno is the sweetest old gentleman ever. He ended up at a shelter after being passed around in a neighborhood, perhaps because of his cheery energy but most likely because he drank too much and thus urinated way too much. In an ODH home where he’s wanted and belongs, he loves to snuggle and be petted and is always very nearby. He lives with his two foster siblings; they are all good buddies, but one is his special friend. They sleep near each other, wrestle each other, and explore the yard together. Juno does his silly shepherd gallop on the way to his bowl at meal times, grinning. He is very respectful and gentle with other animals and enjoys snuggles from children.

He requires medication to control diabetes insipidus but the black, leathery skin he had on his back has healed and grown back all its hair! His coat was dull, but now it’s shiny and soft. His scarred ears have gotten less sensitive with time. He’s a delightful, dedicated fellow.

Update:  Juno had such a happy life with his ODH home, but suddenly told us he was sick.   After diagnosis of advanced tumors on both his liver and his spleen, his condition deteriorated rapidly. His ODH mom sent him on with great regret and many many happy memories.  He was so well loved.
