Kellie, a truly beautiful pomeranian, came into the shelter as a stray. The shelter vets found that she had seriously limited vision and was in early kidney failure, so she joined an ODH Final Refuge home. Her kidney disease progressed slightly, she was treated for repeated bladder infections, and the opthalmologist confirmed that her eyes weren’t painful but weren’t working. After exactly a year, it was time to let her go on to a peaceful rest.

She was very much loved by her whole family and their friends, as can be seen by the lovely painting done on her last day.
