Lil Bit is an adorable, 8 year old guy who is ready to find his forever family. He might be small at 10 pounds, but he has a very big personality. Lil Bit loves to be near his people and enjoys a comfy chair with a blanket where he can soak up the sunbeams as they stream through the window. He is a very smart boy who observes his surroundings at first. He will bark when meeting new people but once he trusts you he is your friend for life. Apartment life isn’t for this guy because he will bark at strange noises and outside activity.

Lil Bit has lived with dogs and is enjoying his doggie friends that visit his foster home. He would enjoy a calm, respectful doggie friend but he would also be very happy as someone’s one and only.  It is unknown if he has lived with cats, therefore, any cats in the home should have a secure place to observe while Lil Bit gets adjusted in his new environment. Lil Bit has met and done well with calm, respectful children. Because of the quick and unpredictable nature of small children his rescuers are asking for a home without children under 10 years of age. Lil Bit is crate trained and housebroken.

Lil Bit recently received a Senior Wellness exam with bloodwork. He was also treated for ear infections and skin disease due to fleas. This has been successfully treated with medicated baths and medications. Any adopter should be prepared to continue with bathing when needed so that his skin continues to be as healthy as possible. Lil Bit is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccines.

Lil Bit is posted for Save-A-Mutt. He is being fostered in Snohomish County, WA.  If you’d like to learn more about Lil Bit, please email: elizabeth@save-a-mutt.org or check out their Petfinder link: www.petfinder.com/pet-search?shelter_id=WA630
