Lil’ Mike is an adorable 12 pound mix of dachshund and chihuahua AKA “a chiweenie”. Check out those EARS! His true age is unknown but he is guessed to be between 8 and 9 years old-a “young” senior! Lil’ Mike does not live with other dogs but he is reportedly social with other dogs and enjoyed the company of other dogs when his family dogsat for a friend. This cutie has never been observed around cats or young children; he lives with a couple kids now, the youngest is 9 years old. Lil’ Mike is said to be able to go without a potty breaks for between 6-9 hours. That’s a long time for any dog so hopefully he will find a home where he won’t have to wait so long. He sounds great, doesn’t he? Lil’ Mike does have diabetes which is regulated at this time. If you have never had a dog with diabetes, it’s all about being on schedule which is not a big deal. Usually injections are given twice a day either during or after meal time. Dogs usually do just fine with the insulin injections, the needles are tiny! Lil’ Mike hopes having diabetes doesn’t change your mind about him-he wants you to know he’s a very good boy who is very loving, affectionate and attentive! He sound like a dog who will make a great addition to a home.

Lil’ Mike is waiting in Fife, WA. for his new home.
