Little Bit

Adopt Little Bit! This little 8 year old Dachshund mix arrived at the shelter after losing his home when his owner went into the hospital. It’s been a hard transition for this poor boy and so he can be nervous and distrustful of strangers. He is adjusting to being at the shelter and starting to enjoy walks and hang out time and offsite outings. He loves to go on car rides and will take in all the sights and smells. Little Bit may think he is a cat – his favorite place to hang out is on the back of the couch and up on the chair by the windowsill looking out. Little Bit seems to enjoy having a human friend around but isn’t into touchy-feely attention. He seems to be friendly with other dogs and cats. Little Bit is looking for a home with no kids since he can be very picky and uncomfortable with touching, rough play and new things.
