“Hi my name is Looty, I’m a 9 year old lady and I’m up for adoption!

“I’m a very sweet girl who will follow you everywhere and wants to always be by your side.  I love to cuddle and be petted and will scratch at you until you pet my chest. I love sleeping with my humans and sleep soundly all night!

“Even though I’m laid back I love going on walks and exploring. I tend to bark when someone is at the door because I protect my house!

“I grew up as an only dog and I haven’t had much so I learned that if I get food or a toy I must protect it. My foster mom is working on that with me and I’m doing well but it’s something my future family has to continue to work on with me. Because I grew up as an only dog, my protective side comes out more when other dogs are around which is why I need a home with no other dogs or children. This way I can feel more at ease.

“I’m learning that food comes at regular times nowadays but I still get very excited and eat in seconds. I will also look for food anywhere I can so any and all food should be hidden from me when I’m not eating.

“I am fully potty trained but it may take me a little bit to figure out my routine in a new home. I love stuffed animals as they comfort me as I chew on them and I have several “babies” I carry around.

“I’m overall a sweet girl who was neglected in the past and now I’m working out some of my behavioral things so that I can be the best dog there is! I would like a patient, doggy savvy family who is willing to work on things with me and who will love me just as much as I love them… quirks and all!”
