10 year old Lucy is a beautiful girl. She weighs 67 pounds and is guessed to be a border collie/lab mix. Lucy enjoys the company of a smaller. friendly dog. She has never lived with a cat. Lucy is fine with kids who are respectful of her and her space. She loves belly rubs and finding her kibble in her “snuffle mat”. Her ideal home will be a mellow one.

Lucy loves her daily walks and playing with her small canine buddy.  Lucy will pull on a leash. She would benefit from someone willing to work with her on that. Perhaps a Wonder Walker harness or Gentle Leader would be helpful? She can manage stairs at this time. Lucy LOVES to swim!

This well behaved girl is fine to stay alone in the house without any issue. Of course in her adoptive home, she will need time to settle in and understand that she’s home now and her adopter will be coming back for her. Patience is so important for any adoption to be successful!
We are told Lucy can manage quite a while before she needs a potty break. She will bark to alert you that someone is at the door or outside your home.

Lucy is in need of an adoptive home and soon. She sounds like a really nice dog who will be loving and loyal friend.

Lucy is located in Lacey, WA. For contact information please email: referrals@olddoghaven.org

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
