“Hello! My name is Lulu and I am a 47 pound English Bulldog who is about 8 years old. How did an English Bulldog end up being rescued by a Boxer rescue? I don’t know but I will say that love doesn’t see breed.

My foster family loves it when I start scampering around the house getting excited for meals, walks, and car trips. Since being rescued I see now that life is GOOD. There are so many places for me to explore, so many couches to nap on, so much sun to soak up, I am ready for my next adventure! I am well behaved on leash.

I can say that I have certainly melted the hearts of everyone with my squishy face, wiggly stump, and snorts of happiness. I rule the roost in my foster home, at least with my two foster fur-brothers, they are nice fellows. I need another home like this as I kind of like to be the boss! A home with older kids who are dog savvy would be best for me.

While I’m up for adventures, I also enjoy hanging out on the couch, supervising the woodshop (power tools do not interrupt my naps!). Most of all I love, love, love sunbathing.

They tell me I have the typical bulldog determined personality (no couch is too high, no smell is too unimportant to investigate), so I need someone who understands my personality, a gentle leader who will also be my friend. Are you that special person?”

Lulu is posted for Northwest Boxer Rescue. She is being fostered in Albany, Oregon.  If you would like to adopt Lulu, fill out an adoption application on their website: www.nwboxerrescue.org

This is not an ODH dog; we urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
