“My name is Maggie and I am an 11 year old Labradoodle. If you don’t know what that is, it’s a mix of labrador and poodle. In my case, it’s the chocolate variety. Who doesn’t love chocolate?! One of the bonuses about me is my size; I’m 50 pounds. Another bonus is my intelligence and training. When I was younger I had obedience training and I still follow direction. I am great on leash.

Don’t think because I’m a “senior dog” that I’m a couch potato! I enjoy at least a mile walk a day, I can go more than that if you’ll let me. I love to play and really, I need the exercise and activity. Remember what they say about a “tired dog is a good dog”. You know what would be great for me? A home with a fenced yard and kids that want to love on me and play with me. I like kids, nice ones that won’t hang or pull on me. I’m a great family dog. I’ve had a smaller dog friend that I’ve lived with and I’m friendly with other dogs I meet. I can’t tell you how I’d act around cats. I can do stairs and I can stay home alone for a work day. I’ve been known to go quite a while without needing to get out to potty.

I’m a good girl, really I am and I need to find a new home and new family very soon. If you can’t give me a home, maybe you will tell your friends about me?”
