Meet Magnolia! Magnolia is a gorgeous 9 year old, 57 pound Pit Bull/Pointer mix with a sweet and gentle soul. This cutie appreciates sweet talk and soft pets, and she’ll happily say hello to you by leaning against you. She loves head massages and a good butt rub, and she’ll happily nudge you to ask for more attention.

Magnolia is a very special girl – she happens to be blind! Her new family will need to be ready to work with her unique circumstances. Stimulating her other senses throughout her day will be important – she especially loves scent-focused enrichment and she’s excited to familiarize herself in her new home with plenty of tasty treats and oral cues. She’s ready to learn so many new skills with Positive Reinforcement training too.

Magnolia is looking for a house (rather than an apartment-type setting) with a fully-fenced and secure yard to keep her safe while she’s following all the exciting scents and playing outside with you. She’d also appreciate a family without children under the age of 10 since she can be shy, and due to her vision impairment can be overwhelmed with too much hustle and bustle. Magnolia may be blind, but she has so much love to give! Are you excited to make this sweet girl part of your family? Submit an application today!
