Marilyn
Great personality and sensitive
Marilyn is a female plot hound estimated to be about 10 years old. She arrived at the shelter as a stray. Marilyn weighs in at 75 pounds and is considered a “large breed” dog. She loves walks on leash outside, is potty trained and has the sweetest face. She can get nervous in new situations though, so she is looking for a patient family who understands that she might take some time to warm up. When she is comfortable she is an independent dog who likes to do her own thing (with you close by of course!) and would not do well in a house with young kids.
Marilyn is a very smart dog! She knows how to “sit”, “stay”, “come”, “down” and “shake”. Any trick for a yummy nummy treat!
Marilyn is a senior dog with a fun-loving personality! She is still working on some handling sensitivities (Marylin dislikes physical affection and will loudly bark to let you know), so she would do best with a family who is willing to work with her, learn about her and help her get settled into a new home.
Marilyn is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion, a King County pet license if you live within Unincorporated King County and additional coupons to local pet stores!
