Martha Anne
Funny, spunky and opinionated!
Please note: The dogs in ODH's Final Refuge care are not adoptable due to medical reasons and all are in permanent homes. Your sponsorship supports the veterinary expenses for these dogs - and we thank you!
Martha Anne landed in a busy shelter with another little dog. She’s a little 10 pound fluff ball. Our vet estimates she’s at least 12 years old. Of course she desperately needs a dental and her other big health problem is a cyst behind her bladder. Initially they drained ¼ cup of gunk from it and we started treating it with antibiotics. Subsequently it has continued to fill with gunk and it’s been drained two more times. So she is scheduled for surgery to remove it next week.
Martha is a funny little girl. According to her DNA she is a Pomeranian / Bichon / Poodle mix, so we’re calling her a Pombichoodle. She’s spunky, talkative, and opinionated. She loves to go for walks and she loves making a nest in the blankets on the bed. She gets along nicely with the two boys (ODH FR Jack & Chuy), but ultimately I think she’ll be the boss. I’m so thankful to ODH for letting me be her foster.
