This stunning girl is Maya. A 9 year old strawberry blonde husky, she weighs 75 pounds. Maya is in need of an adoptive home and very soon. At this time her location is not ideal for her activity level. Maya will thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard and with an adopter who will take her out for daily walks. If you’re looking for a well-behaved, active and fun dog, Maya may just be your gal!

Maya does not want to share her home with another animal. We are told she has been good with respectful children. Maya is a good listener and follows commands. So not only is she gorgeous-she’s smart too!

Maya is needing to spend far too much time in a kennel now. While she has managed it, her person knows this is not the best life for Maya. She can manage quite a while between potty breaks though that doesn’t sound very comfortable… Maya is missing the time with human interaction she used to have. True to her breed, she is very vocal and “talkative”.

At 9, we consider Maya to be a young senior. She can still do stairs and shows no signs of slowing down. With care and a forever adoptive home, Maya could be around for some time to come. She’s ready for a lifetime commitment.

Maya is located in Kennewick, WA. For contact information please email: referrals@olddoghaven.org

This is a courtesy post. Maya is not an Old Dog Haven dog. We urge prospective adopters to do their own evaluation.
