ODH Home Found for Miniature Black Dachshund Boy

FOUND – PERMANENT ODH FOSTER HOME: Likely very old miniature dachshund, THIN at 12#. His list of medical issues is long: he has cataracts (still visual), his teeth are mostly gone but two oronasal fistulas remain, he has a big heart murmur which may preclude neutering or a dental, his patellas luxate so are arthritic, he came into the shelter with live fleas and some dermatitis from them. And he has some facial muscle atrophy which could be from age/weight loss or something more ominous. He has enjoyed the company of the other old guy though they have a bit of rivalry, and would probably be happier in a home with another slow-moving old dog.
